We had a wonderful but busy trip and we were lucky to have it extended by 8 whole days due to the Iceland Volcano. Naturally because we are a photo loving family I have hundreds of pictures to choose from. I will put up a few of my favorites but not an inclusive set by far. (oh, and unedited photos too because it would take me ages to fiddle around with them)

This is the beginning. Well, sort of. This is the magical time, somewhere around 1 AM in our sleep schedule and we are all still awake. Yes, Megan still looking beautiful regardless of the time, me completely exhausted, and Emily, well... This is a shot of the happy time during the couple hour layover we have before the next flight, the complete meltdown including screaming at the top of her lungs, lying on the floor kicking with arms flailing, came a few minutes later and even the stewardess tried to offer us McD's coupons to get us to leave the waiting area.
Well, it had been a long day and Em is usually in bed by 7 and I am in my pj's by 6 if I can manage it just hoping no one comes knocking on the door. It turned out fine in the end. Emi was asleep pretty quick once the next flight got on its way and our very comfy beds were waiting for us at MiMi's and Grandpa's house. Isn't it nice to go home? One of the best feelings in the world.
Note to remember about the flight: Emily was noticing my drink on the flight. She says "What is that?" I am confused and tell her Ginger Ale, because that is what it is. "No, that!!!" she says pointing to the ice cubes in the cup. It was the sweetest thing, my sheltered child not knowing what ice cubes are. We obviously don't need them much in our chilly climate here and believe it or not, don't even have any in the freezer. She munched on ice cubes for the next 1/2 hour. A nice distraction.

Getting ready for Easter.
